Cannes Mandelieu to Bourges/Grenoble (LFMD-LFLG)

Few days ago, i received in my postmail the instructions for my next trip (leg 7 ATPL) and it’s a pleasant news during this summer as the goal is to fly from Cannes Mandelieu to Grenoble in VFR, that would be a interesting trip ! I will have to follow precisly the countryscape in using the villages, lakes, and waypoints i would create in my flightplan.

• Leave Cannes via route WL
• Fly to Chardan, a military training area, and follow the river “L’Artuby” in a westerly direction.
• After a few minutes the river will lead into the Verdon-Valley and flows into the lake “Lac de Sainte-Croix”.
• Follow the lake until it flows into the river “Verdon”. Follow this river to the village Vinon-sur-Verdon
• Land on the nearby airport Vinon (LFNF) and do an unplanned toilet-stop.
• After departure follow the river “Durance” in northern direction.
• A short while after takeoff fly over the airport of St. Auban, continue your flight until the entrypoint S (Sierra) of the airport Gap (LFNA) and cross the airport’s zone via S, S1, E1, N
• After crossing the airport will fly over the city Gap and follow the road to the lake “Lac du Sautet”.
• The lake bends and ends in a dam which leads in the river  “Le Drac”. Follow the river until it flows into another lake which ends in a dam.
• Follow again the river “Le Drac” until it flows into lake “Lac de Monteynard-Avignonet”.
• Follow the lake in northern direction. The lake will again end in a dam.
• In northern direction you will find the city of Grenoble.
• Land in Grenoble in the wind-preferred direction.
